Connection issues

Troubleshoot Bluetooth pairing between your BP Doctor watch and the companion app.

Cannot find the device

  • Confirm the watch has power; charge for at least ten minutes if the battery is low.
  • Keep the phone within a few feet during the first pairing.
  • If another phone already owns the connection, disable Bluetooth on that phone or unpair before pairing anew—one band pairs to one phone at a time.

Confirm connection status

On the watch home screen, a Bluetooth icon usually shows connected vs idle. Gray often means not linked.

Restart steps

  • Toggle phone Bluetooth off and on, then search again in the app.
  • Restart the watch (power off and on).
  • Move away from crowded Bluetooth environments if many devices interfere.
  • Restart the phone and reopen the app if pairing still fails.

Automatic reconnect

After the first successful link, the app typically reconnects within about 5–10 seconds when opened. Auto-connect may fail if phone Bluetooth is off, app permissions are denied, watch battery is critically low, or the phone is low on memory—repeat the manual pairing flow.
